DHI Hair Transplantation

DHI stands for “Direct Hair Transplantation” in this method, grafts are collected thanks to the medical pen named choi, which should only be used by specialists,   the hair is collected by using the special pen and then is placed directly on the skin without opening the incision and canal. While these two procedures are performed on separate occasions in known hair transplantation methods, comfort and convenience are provided to the patient by reducing the procedure to one thanks to the choi pen. In short, in the hair transplantation technique called FUE, the procedure is made in three stages and DHI is made in two. The purpose of the application is to increase the quality in hair transplantation and to provide intense appearance and to ensure the rapid return of the person who had the transplantation without shortening the hair by preserving the existing hair image.

By applying local anesthesia to the donor area, the hair follicles are relaxed and then collected after that the process of placing the collected hair follicles on the scalp starts.

The hair follicles are placed on the scalp thanks to the special choi pen. This pen is very thin, pointed, but due to its special structure, it has an insert that can be inserted into the hair follicle. This thin-tipped medical pen, which is immersed in the scalp at the appropriate angle, inserts the hair follicle into the scalp when pressed on the special area behind it.

This method, which is applied without damaging healthy tissues, is advantageous in terms of allowing plantings much more frequently.

In general, this method is preferred because of  the immediate placement of the roots without waiting after they are removed. Thus, the retention rate and the likelihood of the grafts staying healthy increases Although it’s a long-standing technique, its star has shone recently.

It is extremely important that the procedure, which takes about 10-12 hours, is carried out by experienced people.
