Beard and mustache transplantation is a one session procedure performed under local anesthesia. It is a painless procedure that lasts approximately 4-5 hours.
On the day after the procedure, some small crusts may appear in the transplanted area. But it will pass in a short time. Hairs at the end of the planted roots are shed after 15 days. This is a normal process and after three months, the hairs begins to grow back. Within 6 to 8 months, the patient will have the desired beard and moustache.
